Bile acid, fat absorption promoter
Bile acid is the main active component of bile secreted by animal liver. It is a series of sterols produced in the process of cholesterol metabolism in animal body, with multiple biological activities. Bile acid as feed additive can protect liver and promote fat metabolism in cultured animals. During fat metabolism, bile acids play a role in emulsification, digestion and absorption of fat.   
Meanwhile,bile acid has been registered as a national new feed additive in the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China. Bile acid is defined as "fat absorption promoter", which is the same as amino acid, vitamin, enzyme preparation and other additives, strictly different from the traditional feed emulsifier.
