The squeezed juice flows into the bottom juice container through the filter screen, while the waste is discharged through the gap formed between the screw and the conical part of the pressure regulating head. The movement of the pressure regulating head along the axial direction can adjust the size of the gap. When transferring the handwheel bearing seat clockwise by hand (looking from the slag discharge groove of the equipment to the feeding hopper), the pressure regulating head should be turned to the left, and the gap will be reduced. Otherwise, the gap will become larger. Changing the size of the gap, that is, adjusting the resistance of the residue, can change the juice yield. However, if the gap is too small, under strong compression, some of the residue particles will be squeezed out together with the juice through the filter screen. Although the juice yield increases, the quality of the juice will relatively decrease. The size of the gap should depend on the specific process requirements of the user.
