VHX plate are minaly served to replacement of famous brand plate heat exchangers like M3, M6, M6M, M10B, M10M, M15B, M15M,M20M,T20B, T20P, T20M ,MX25B, MX25M, M30, TL6B, TL10B, TL10P, TS6M, TS20M, P26, P36, P22, P16,A10B, AK20 and V4, V8, V13, V20, V45, V28, V60, V85, V100,V110,V130,V170 which is very cost effective instead of original plate. Plate Material Selection
304 stainless steel
This is the lowest cost heat transfer plate material. It has a low corrosion resistance and is usually only available in a thickness of 0.4mm. This type of heat transfer plate is typically used on HVAC applications.
316 stainless steel
This is the most common heat transfer plate material and is used in many applications. 316 stainless steel has a high corrosion resistance and is typically available in thickness from 0.4mm up to 0.8mm.
Titanium
This has a very high resistance to chemical attack including most acids, chlorides,sea water,and chlorine chemicals. Titanium is usually available in thicknesses from 0.5mm up to 0.6mm.
Hastelloy C276
Other common names: Alloy C276, Hastelloy C, Inconel® C-276 Hastelloy C-276. Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with an addition of tungsten designed to have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments.Alloy C-276 is widely used in the most severe environments such as chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper production, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and recovery of sour natural gas. Thickness available from 0.6mm to 0.8mm.
SMO 254
Sandvik 254 SMO is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel developed for use in seawater and other aggressive chloride-bearing media. Thickness available from 0.6mm to 0.8mm.
